Gunpowder Green Dynasty Tea is a type of Chinese tea from Zhejiang province. In China, it is known as “pearl tea". Its English name comes from the resemblance of gunpowder – the leaves are rolled into a pellet. Leaves are steamed and then dried. There are shiny and have a smoky taste. Some people combine Gunpowder tea with spearmint (used for Moroccan tea).

Take 1 tsp of Gunpowder Green Dynasty Tea and add 200 ml of warm water. Ideal water temperature for this type of tea is between 70 °C and 80 °C. Steep for 1 minute, then strain. The tea’s ready to drink.
