Tormentil (Potentilla erecta) is a plant that grows wild in Scandinavia and Western Asia, known also as septfoil or erect cinquefoil or shepherd's knapper. The plant is commonly found on pastures, in deciduous forests, in marshy habitats and in high mountains, at an altitude of up to 2500 m. Herbal raw material is obtained in the spring, in April and in May - before the leaves appear and in autumn, in September and October.
Tormentil Rhizome due to its properties, it is often used in cosmetics for skincare, especially in cosmetics for acne skin. Also, it turns out to be an ideal ingredient in natural toothpaste.
How To Use Tormentil Rhizome Health Embassy
1-2 tsp of Tormentil Rhizome pour with 200ml of boiling water. Leave to infuse covered for 15-20 minutes, then strain and drink. You can add some lemon juice or stevia powder to taste.
Pour 2-3 tsp of Tormentil Rhizome into 200ml of cool water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes, then leave to infuse covered for 30 minutes. Take 2 x 100ml daily. It can be also used as a gargle or a mouthwash.
50g of Tormentil Rhizome pour with 250ml of 40-60% alcohol. Leave in a dark place for maceration for 14 days. After this time filter the mixture and pour it into a bottle. Consume 3ml daily.
