Coltsfoot is a low-growing perennial with fleshy, woolly leaves. The plant is native to Europe but also grows widely in sandy places throughout the United States and Canada. In cosmetology, Coltsfoot Leaf is used in face masks. They are used primarily for the care of oily skin with contaminated pores, sensitive skin and scalp care.

Use 1-3 tsp of Coltsfoot Leaf per 1 glass (200ml) of boiling milk or water and brew it for 10-15 minutes. After this time strain the mixture and add some honey or squash.
Pour 350ml of warm water over 1 tbsp of Coltsfoot Leaf and bring it to boil. After 3 minutes of boiling it covered, the decoction shall be left aside for 10 minutes, then strained.
This decoction can also be used externally as a compress.
50g of Coltsfoot Leaf pour 400ml of 40-60% alcohol. Leave in a cool and dark place for 14 days. After two weeks, filter and pour into a bottle.
