How To Use Coltsfoot Leaf Health Embassy

Infusion

Use 1-3 tsp of Coltsfoot Leaf per 1 glass (200ml) of boiling milk or water; brew it for 10-15 minutes. After this time strain the mixture, sweeten with honey or squash. An infusion can be consumed a couple of times a day in the dose of 100ml.

Decoction

Pour 350ml of warm water over 1 tbsp of Coltsfoot Leaf and bring it to boil. After 3 minutes of boiling it covered, the decoction shall be left aside for 10 minutes, then strained.

This decoction can also be used externally as a compress.

Tincture

50g of Coltsfoot Leaf pour 400ml of 40-60% alcohol. Leave in a cool and dark place for 14 days. After two weeks, filter and pour into a bottle. It can be taken a couple of times a day in the amount of 1 tsp.
