Black Currant or blackcurrant (Ribes nigrum L.) is native to temperate parts of central and northern Europe and northern Asia. The leaves can be extracted to yield a natural yellow dye. Black Currant Leaf contain essential oils, which cause their pleasant aroma. Black Currant Leaf Tea is a great herbaceous infusion with a smooth, sweet aftertaste.

How To Use Black Currant Leaf Health Embassy

Infusion

2 tsp of Black Currant Leaf pour 200 ml of boiling water. Let it brew undercover for 20 minutes, then strain and drink.

Tincture

50 g of Black Currant Leaf pour 400 ml of 40-60% alcohol. Leave in a dark place for 14 days. After this time filter and pour into a bottle. Drink 30 ml daily for 5 ml or use externally.

Warming Tea

Mmix the Black Currant Leaf, Raspberry Leaf and Rosehip Peel in equal amount. Place 1 tbsp of this leaves mixture with a glass (200ml) of boiling water and cook for around 5 minutes undercover. After this time strain the beverage and drink.
