White Mulberry (Morus alba L.) plant is a native of China and North-Eastern India. Originally, it was grown exclusively in China, where it was used industrially, but today it belongs to the species commonly found all over the world. It is often planted as a decorative tree in parks and gardens.
Through centuries, Mulberry Leaf was served as a drink for the Chinese Emperors and in the royal courts of Japan and Korea. The Mulberry Leaves are harvested in Autumn and dried for making tea.
How To Use White Mulberry Leaf Health Embassy
1-2 flat tsp of White Mulberry Leaf pour a glass (200ml) of boiling water. Brew under the cover for about 10 minutes, then strain. Drink before meals.
2-3 tsp of White Mulberry Leaf pour 200ml of cool water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Leave to infuse covered for another 15 minutes, then strain. Drink 100ml of decoction twice a day.
100g of White Mulberry Leaf pour 400ml of 40-60% alcohol. Close the vessel tightly and set aside in the dark for 14 days to macerate. After two weeks, filter and pour into bottles. Consume 2-3ml daily.
