Goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea L.) is mostly found in the hillsides, dunes, rocks, or woods. It occurs widely throughout Europe and Asia, as well as in North America. It blooms at the end of summer, from the end of July to August, forming characteristic, high, yellow clumps in the fields. The other names of Goldenrod Herb include European goldenrod or woundwort.
Goldenrod Herb has been historically used by Native American peoples—and European settlers—as a wash or poultice. it’s also a popular ingredient in herbal supplements and teas.
How To Use Goldenrod Herb Health Embassy
1-2 tsp of Goldenrod Herb pour a glass (200ml) of boiling water. Cover and infuse for 10-15 minutes, then strain the infusion.
Goldenrod herbal infusion is also used externally for compresses and for a mouth wash.
50g of Goldenrod Herb pour with 200ml 40% warm alcohol. Close the vessel tightly and allow it to macerate in a dark place for two weeks. After 14 days, filter and pour into a bottle.
50g of Goldenrod Herb pour with 450ml of warm, dry red wine, then add 50ml of 40% vodka and leave to macerate for two weeks. After 14 days, filter the mixture and pour it into a bottle.
