The herb has a pleasant taste and flavour, the green parts having a similar aromatic character to the flowers. The herb is also used to flavour wine, beer, and many kinds of vinegar.

Product Description


Suggested Use:

To make an infusion, 1-2 tbsp of Meadowsweet Herb pour with 1 cup (200ml) of boiling water and steep covered for 15 minutes. After this time strain and drink 1 glass 3 times a day or when needed.

To prepare a decoction, take 2 tbsp Meadowsweet Herb for 1 glass of water (200ml) and cook for 15 minutes. Allow to stand for another 15 minutes, fill with the amount of water, which evaporated and strain.

To make a tincture, 50 g of Meadowsweet Herb pour 200 ml of 40-60% alcohol. Close the dish tightly and set aside in a dark place for 14 days for maceration. After two weeks, filter and pour into bottles. Consume 3-4 times a day for 10 ml of diluted water in 50 ml. It can be used also externally.
