Speedwell (Veronica officinalis L.)is a plant also known as heath speedwell, common gypsy weed, or Paul's betony, it is native to Europe and western Asia. It grows in open areas (fields and meadows). The plant stems and leaves have a slightly silvery color.
Speedwell Herb stays green throughout the winter, while in the summer it can be recognized by purple-blue flowers gathered in clusters.
How To Use Speedwell Herb Health Embassy
1-2 tsp of Speedwell Herb pour 200ml of boiling water. Leave to infuse covered for about 10-15 minutes, then strain the infusion.
It can be used externally to wash the body and to make compresses.
1 tbsp of Speedwell Herb with 200ml of cold water, then bring the mixture to a boil and simmer on low heat for about 3-5 minutes. Then set it aside for 15 minutes. Strain after this time and drink.
Macerate 2 handful of Speedwell Herb in 1 l of 40% spirit for two weeks in a dark place. After this time strain and pour into a bottle.
