Rue (Ruta graveolens L.) plant came to southern Europe (Balkans) via northern Africa and the Mediterranean region. It is commonly known as rue, common rue or herb-of-grace. It has a strong aromatic smell and blooms with small yellow-green flowers from June to August.

In addition to decorative functions, Rue Herb also provides bitter, balsamic leaves for the flavouring of meats and salads, as well as pickled vegetables and homemade marinades.

How To Use Rue Herb Health Embassy

Infusion

1-3 tsp of Rue Herb pour with 200ml of boiling water. Brew under the cover for 10-15 minutes, then strain and drink. The infusion has a bitter taste, so you can add some honey or stevia powder to sweeten it. After cooling, it can be also used externally.

Tincture

50g of Rue Herb pour with 300ml of 40-60% alcohol. Leave to macerate in a cool and dark place for 14 days. After two weeks, filter and pour into a bottle. Take 5 drops on sugar 2 times a day.

Extract

100ml of Rue Herb tincture combine with 100ml of liquid natural honey and 50ml of lemon juice. Serve up to 3 times a day, in a dose of 1 tbsp.

Oil

50g of Rue Herb with pour 200ml of oil heated to 60°C. Close the dish tightly and allow it to stand for 10 days. After this time filter the mixture and pour it into a bottle. Consume it after the meal, up to 2 times a day in an amount 1 tsp. You can also use it externally.

Infusion with the addition of St. John's Wort

1 tsp of Rue Herb and 1 tsp of St. John's Wort pour with a glass (200ml) of boiling water, leave for 10-15 minutes under the cover, then strain. Drink 2 times a day.
