White Poplar (Populus alba L.) are deciduous trees native to Europe and North America. Poplar occurs on the banks of waters, in deciduous forests, is also often planted. Poplar Buds are collected in early spring - when they begin to swell.
You can prepare an extract from White Poplar Buds, the raw material is also suitable for the preparation of e.g. infusions, balms, tinctures. They are rich in essential oils, which is why they can be used in aromatherapy.
How To Use White Poplar Buds Health Embassy
1-2 tsp of White Poplar Buds pour 200ml of boiling water. Leave to infuse covered for 10-15 minutes, then strain. Drink 3-4 times a day in a dose of 100ml.
2-3 tsp of White Poplar Buds pour 200ml of cool water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Leave to infuse covered for another 15 minutes, then strain. Drink 3 to 4 times a day for 100ml.
50g of White Poplar Buds pour 200ml of 40-60% alcohol. Close the vessel tightly and set aside in the dark for 14 days to macerate. After two weeks, filter and pour into bottles. Consume 2-3 times daily, for 10ml. It can be used also externally as a skin wash.
Pour 1 part of White Poplar Buds with 5 parts of 60-70% hot alcohol. Leave it for at least 7 days in a dark place. Shake well every day. After a week filter the extract. Take in a dose of 5-10ml, up to 3 times a day.
