Catuaba (Erythroxylum Catuaba) is a medium-sized tree found in the Amazon forests of northern Brazil and traditionally has been used as an aphrodisiac, increasing women's and men’s libido. Catuaba tree has a dense crown, elongated in shape. Its leaves have a dark green color, are large and shiny, do not fall in winter.
Centuries ago, the Brazilian Indians discovered the wonderful properties of the Catuaba tree and gave it the name ‘tree of love’ or ‘good tree’.
How To Use Catuaba Bark Health Embassy
Use 1-3 tsp of Catuaba Bark for 250ml of boiling water and steep it for 10-15 minutes, then strain the liquid. During brewing, infusion turns colour into red. You can add some honey or agave syrup as a sweetener.
Pour 1-3 tsp of Catuaba Bark into a glass (200ml) of water, bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes, then set aside and brew covered for 10 minutes. After this time strain the infusion.
Pour 0.5 l of vodka over 30g of Catuaba Bark and leave it in a dark glass bottle or jar for 2 weeks, next, strain it. The tincture prepared this way is ready to use.
